Unfortunately although surgery can bring relief there is no guarantee that the inflammation won't erupt in other areas and sometimes at the site of the first surgery. Usually its a combination of medical and surgical therapies that give the best outcome, coupled with natural treatments and a modifed diet to ease flare ups.
