Thanks for the comments Denise -

We are very careful in the information we provide to our readers.

There are many contradictory messages about Soy, and the points you make are valid especially around the genetically modified aspect.

People considering using soy should look for products labelled "organic" as this means they are not genetically modified.

With regards to the other point you make about Soy being unsuitable for Crohn's sufferer's. There are many reputable sources that agree that Soy is a suitable alternative for those who are lactose intolerent.

Although, each persons tolerance to Soy may of course vary also.

Here are are a few links for those who seek further information to look over.

I can't believe you recommend soy. 90% of all soy is GMO. There are studies that are now showing that the pesticides in GMO foods may become reactivated in the gut.

Soy has never been granted GRAS status. Soy is listed in the FDA poisonous plant database 288 times. Soy inhibits the absorbtion of calcium, zinc, and magnesium.

Soy is NOT a healthy food, it is downright dangerous. Please do some research before telling people with crohns to use soy.
