I would suggest that your wife makes an appointment with your doctor to discuss her symptoms. They may be a side effect of her thyroidectomy or a reaction to the medication. If your dry skin isn't responding to the usual over the counter creams you could speak to your doctor to see if they can recommend something else. Hi John
